After an outstanding and consistent performance at the ECNL National Championships, Nayeli Requejo received an invitation to join the top 90 players in the 1993 - 1996 age groups from across the country at the ECNL/id2 National Training Camp, scheduled for July 23-25, 2012, at Nike World Headquarters in Beaverton, OR.  Her play was noticed at the ECNL National Championships by ECNL Scouts and was recommended for inclusion at this prestigious camp.

The ECNL / id2 National Training Camp, presented by The Chance, is a joint program between the ECNL, Nike, and US Club Soccer. The camp is part of the id2 National Identification and Development Program.  It provides an opportunity for the country’s top female players from throughout the country to be identified and developed in an elite training environment, while also being scouted for possible inclusion in U.S. Soccer’s National Team programs.

The camp will provide tremendous opportunity for all participating players:

  • An opportunity to work with some of the nation’s best soccer coaches, and to play with and compete against some of the nation’s best players in their age group,
  • U.S. Soccer National Team staff on-site to scout players for inclusion in U.S. Soccer’s National Teams.
  • Once players arrive at the ECNL / id2 National Training Camp presented by The Chance, the program is free of charge. There is no camp fee, and lodging, meals and training gear are provided at no cost by the ECNL, US Club Soccer and Nike.
  • The top 18 players from The Chance will be selected to participate in the international soccer trip of a lifetime which will take place in the travel window of July 27-August 10, 2012.  The winner’s trip is at NO EXPENSE to participants as NIKE and the ECNL will cover all expenses (including travel, food, accommodations, etc) and all training gear is provided at no cost to the player.
It is a huge honor to be invited to attend this camp and Strikers FC is very proud of Nayeli for her hard work, dedication and commitment!

Good luck Nayeli!
