Emmanuel Boateng, a member of the Striker FC Development Academy, recently was named as the Gatorade National Player of the Year.  Ema, a native of Ghana, is a senior at Cate Preparatory School in Santa Barbara and will attend the University of California Santa Barbara in the fall.
